You want to be safe when your out on the road and you want to be comfortable too, so it's really important to inspect your shock absorbers once a year or every 12,000 miles.

If your SLX is bouncing down the road while you're trying to drive, then chances are you've got worn shocks. But, that's not the only way to test for signs of worn shocks. Here are a few things to check for:

Do you experience 3 or more bounces when crossing dip?
When stopping quickly, does your SLX rock back and forth several times?
While applying your brakes firmly at higher speeds does your SLX drift left or right?
Does your SLX rock or sway side to side when changing lanes quickly?
On a tight curve does your SLX lean and sway with a disconnected feeling?
