"How Do I Know If My Air Suspension Is Failing?"

Well, the main and most common symptoms of a leaking or failed air suspension a sagging rear end. Other major clues are that your air compressor isn't working or is running way too often. Another pretty common tip off of a problem air suspension is your Continental's inability to reach or maintain recommended height.

One of our customer's vehicles:

Not Good! See how low this vehicle is riding?

Failure to repair your Lincoln Continental suspension system can also lead to some major safety issues, such as an air spring blowing while doing 75MPH could send the car into a spin. Really, really not good.

A faulty air suspension can cause loss of work, car rental, towing bills, excessive repair costs (especially by big car dealerships) and in general can be very frustrating and inconvenient to say the least. Bottom line: it can cost you big bucks.

"Why Did My Continental Front Air Suspension Fail?..."

The Lincoln Continental front air suspension systems are subject to a lot of troubles, but the greatest enemy is time. The air spring is made with rubber parts that dry-rot in 5 to 7 years. The Continental air suspension's longevity is also determined by how much extreme heat and cold the Continental is subjected. These weather conditions and how you drive will degrade the parts of the air suspension system. The electronic devices begin to fail with age, which just intensifies the problems related to the Lincoln Continental air suspension.

Notice the cracks in the air bag?

Also overlooked many times on the Continental, is the condition of the rear suspension. The same problems you have with your front air suspension will eventually happen to the rear air suspension too. As time goes by, the Continental suspension is subject to extreme wear and the sagging poor shocks and spring quality will make it difficult to properly align your Continental. This will cause excessive wear to the front tires and will eventually ruin the great ride you deserve as a Lincoln Continental owner. So you get a lousy ride and you get to buy tires alot more frequently than you should.

This will really make you ride low...

"What The Dealer Won't Tell You..."

With the insider information I know today, I can assure you that the OEM parts will always fail and are just another way for car dealers to "line their pockets" at your expense.

"Dealerships Have Used This Dirty Little Trick For Years..."

The dealerships and parts dealers want you to buy replacement parts because they know that your other air suspension and electronic parts are bound to fail in the very near future, forcing you to continue to buy more and more air suspension replacement parts over time. They make a killing as you grow more and more frustrated!

The stark reality is that luxury car & SUV owners like you, have been left in the dark. These replacement parts are expensive and in most cases it will be necessary for you to pay a dealership a huge wad-of-cash to install them. Further increasing the cost to get your ride fixed. Many times, you will also have to rent a car because the dealership will take days to get your air suspension working properly.

The worst part about this whole situation is that you don't have a car, the dealership takes forever to fix your ride and then the dealership will use that against you and magically find lots of other parts that “have” to be fixed. You know because it's happened to you before or to someone you know.

Don't fall for their trap...it's not pretty once they have you. They will be laughing all the way to the bank. Don't let these guys take your hard earned money. You have another option, and Strutmasters had done all the hard work for you.

It rides quite well June 18, 2010
Reviewer: Dennis Culpepper from Sleepy Hollow, IL United States
I installed your front struts in my 98 Continental a couple weeks ago.  It rides quite well and I saved a lot of money by using your struts.  The Ford dealer here wanted $675 for a single coil spring.
Thanks in advance for your help and I am very satisfied with the struts.  I'm a salesguy myself and appreciate your professionalism as well as your products.

Best Regards,
Dennis Culpepper
