"How Do I Know If My Air Suspension Is Failing?"

Well, the main and most common symptoms of a leaking or failed air suspension a sagging rear end. Other major clues are that your air compressor isn't working or is running way too often. Another pretty common tip off of a problem air suspension is your Navigator's inability to reach or maintain recommended height.

One of our customer's vehicles:

Not Good!  See how low this vehicle is riding?

Failure to repair your Lincoln Navigator suspension system can also lead to some major safety issues, such as an air spring blowing while doing 75MPH could send the car into a spin. Really, really not good.

A faulty air suspension can cause loss of work, car rental, towing bills, excessive repair costs (especially by big car dealerships) and in general can be very frustrating and inconvenient to say the least. Bottom line:  it can cost you big bucks.

"Why Did My Navigator Air Suspension Fail?..."

The Lincoln Navigator air suspension systems are subject to a lot of troubles, but it's greatest enemy is time. The air spring is made with rubber parts that dry-rot in 5 to 7 years. The Navigator air suspension's longevity is determined by how much extreme heat and cold your Navigator is subjected. These weather conditions will quickly degrade the parts of an air suspension system. A lot of times the electronic devices begin to fail with age, which just intensifies the problems related to the Lincoln Navigator air suspension.

Notice the cracks in the air bag?

As time goes by, the Navigator suspension is subject to extreme wear and the sagging poor shocks and spring quality will make it difficult to properly align. This causes excessive wear to the all four tires and eventually ruins the great ride you deserve as a Lincoln Navigator owner. So not only do you have a lousy ride, but now you get the pleasure of having to buy tires more frequently.

This will really make you ride low...

"What The Dealer Won't Tell You..."

With the insider information I know today, I can assure you that the OEM parts will always fail and are just another way for car dealers to "line their pockets" at your expense.

"Dealerships Have Used This Dirty Little Trick For Years..."

The dealerships and parts dealers want you to buy replacement parts because they know that your other air suspension and electronic parts are bound to fail in the very near future, forcing you to continue to buy more and more air suspension replacement parts over time. They make a killing as you grow more and more frustrated!

The stark reality is that luxury car & SUV owners like you, have been left in the dark. These replacement parts are expensive and in most cases it will be necessary for you to pay a dealership a bundle of cash to install them. Increasing even more the cost to get your ride fixed. Many times, you will also have to rent a car because the dealership will take days to get your air suspension working properly.

The worst part about this whole situation is that you don't have a car, the dealership takes forever to fix your ride and then the dealership will use that against you and magically find lots of other parts that “have” to be fixed. You know because it's happened to you before or to someone you know.

Don't fall for their trap...it's not pretty once they have you. They will be laughing all the way to the bank. Please, don't let these guys take your hard earned money. You have another option, and Strutmasters had done all the hard work for you.

Strutmaster "Rocks" October 6, 2011
Reviewer: Larry Shive from Kannapolis, NC United States
Couple of months ago had the 4wd suspension kit installed by Muffler Masters and they did an excellent job.  The "new ride" is equal to or better than the original "air" on my 2004 Navigator which I had bought new.  The front end has less roll in curves and cornering.  Frankly, I'm very surprised at the results with this aftermarket unit. But it really is as good as advertised.  The car has the same stance and height as original.  I wasn't going to fix the original.  Could just see an endless hole with the likelyhood of continued replacement of parts over time.  But with Strutmasters when its installed, its done!   And you don't have to worry about more problems...just worry about the cost of gas to run this "beast".  Get one. You won't regret it.  Larry Shive

It's a great value June 11, 2010
Reviewer: Tom Duncan from Irving, TX United States
The installation went fine.  The shop Christian Brothers in Irving, TX was very impressed with the quality of the parts and the ease of replacement.  I was told that a catalog was included in the shipment. They kept it so they could offer the same kind of  replacement parts to other customers.  My wife enjoys her Navigator again.  You have a great product.  It's a great value.
