Why Choose Strutmasters?
Why choose the Conversion Kit over replacing the air suspension system on your 2000-2005 Pontiac Bonneville?
There is a wide array of components that make up the air suspension system on the 2000-2005 Pontiac Bonneville. They must always function in sync. Strutmasters' air to non-air suspension conversion kit permanently eliminates this dependency. The kit is an affordable direct replacement solution that doesn't sacrifice quality. Made in the USA, the kit comes with two rear shocks and two rear Eibach springs. The kit can be installed simply, in as little as one hour per wheel, with a few bolts each. Customers appreciate the easy to follow instructions and online installation videos that help guide a smooth repair. Strutmasters' ASE certified experts are happy to provide technical support over the phone at any time. The investment is secure thanks to Strutmasters' Lifetime Limited Warranty. Lastly, the cost of the kit is a fraction of the prices of dealership direct replacement and individual part replacement.
Is Your Suspension Failing?
How do I know if my 2000-2005 Pontiac Bonneville Air Suspension is failing?
If the 2000-2005 Pontiac Bonneville is unable to reach and maintain the proper ride height, it may be suffering from a failed or leaking air suspension system. Look for these classic signs that indicate the suspension is going bad, before it's too late and total failure sets in. A sudden height variance between different sides of the vehicle is a red flag. Typically one end will sag while the other end will remain inflated. There may be a shifting lean from one side to the other. These imbalances must be fixed promptly, or they will wear out the air compressor. If the air compressor has stopped working or is running too often then suspension failure will progress. A suspension warning light will illuminate on the dashboard.
What kind of suspension does my 2000-2005 Pontiac Bonneville have?
The 2000-2005 Pontiac Bonneville is built with the following suspension components:
2000-2005 Pontiac Bonneville Coil Springs (x2)- Coil springs hold the vehicle up but be careful, they are rated for and designed to work with the rest of the suspension system, so when you change air shocks to passive shocks, then you will need a different rated coil spring that works well with the new type of shocks.
2000-2005 Pontiac Bonneville Struts (x2)- a type of shock absorber; has metal tubing filled with gas-charged hydraulic fluid that is connected to the wheel of a vehicle in order to reduce the effects of vertical travel on a rough surface which controls the bounciness, and therefore comfort, of a vehicle.; the air spring assembled on top of the strut is commonly referred to as an air strut.
2000-2005 Pontiac Bonneville Shock Absorbers (x2)- a metal tubing filled with gas-charged hydraulic fluid that is connected to the wheel of a vehicle in order to reduce the effects of vertical travel on a rough surface which controls the bounciness, and therefore comfort, of a vehicle.
