Why Choose Strutmasters Instead Of Those Other Guys
Up above on this page we compare three different prices: That of repairing your air suspension system with Original Equipment parts directly at the Land Rover dealership; that of installing aftermarket air suspension replacement parts on your Range Rover piece-by-piece; and that of getting rid of the faulty air suspension headaches forever by installing a brand new Strutmasters conversion kit for the air suspension in your 05-09 Range Rover Sport. You will see that the price of the last option is significantly less money; look at the savings! The cost difference between choosing an air vs non-air suspension system speaks for itself, but there are numerous reasons why customers love our kit. This kit, manufactured in America, was designed specifically for the 2005-2009 Range Rover Sport. It includes two pre-assembled front strut assemblies with quality Eibach springs and two pre-assembled rear strut assemblies with Eibach springs. The kit gets rid of the dependence on old, faulty electrical components to function in sync at all times. It saves money because you don't need to take your Range Rover to the dealer for any more air suspension repair. It is installed in about one hour per wheel, saving you time. DIYers love the detailed instructions that virtually eliminate frustration. Read the positive customer reviews to hear firsthand just how convenient our air to non air suspension conversion kit is.
How Do I know If My Range Rover Air Suspension is failing?
There are common signs that can help you diagnose when the air suspension system on your 05-09 Range Rover Sport is going bad or leaking. You want to get this fixed before total failure sets in. A noticeable sign of a bad suspension is a sudden loss of three to five inches of ride height. There may be a height difference between different sides of the Range Rover Sport or the rear or front end may sag while the opposite end is inflated. if left unfixed, other suspension components will wear out at a more rapid pace. Take the air compressor, for example. It may have stopped working or may run too often (will be very loud and noisy). One obvious red flag is an illuminated suspension warning light on the instrument panel. If any of these symptoms present themselves, you need to choose from certain repair options- aftermarket, dealer, direct replacement- but make sure to do thorough research. Not all options are equal.
After Market Replacement Parts:+ Air Strut ($396/strut) + Compressor Assembly ($720/compressor) = TOTAL: Over $2,300 (and that doesn’t even include replacing electronic components that are known to fail such as the height sensors).

Suspension Components List
The 2005-2009 Range Rover Sport is built with the following suspension components:
2005-2009 Range Rover Sport Air Struts (x4)- Struts that contain a gas-charged hydraulic-filled cylinder that dampens vibration and road imperfections. The strut is a perch for a rubber air bladder (also called air spring or air bag), which fills with air and supports the weight of the vehicle. Inflation of the air springs is managed by a suspension control module. The rubber portion of the strut is the number one cause of all air suspension leaks.
2005-2009 Range Rover Sport Height Sensors (x4)- a linkage located near each wheel of a vehicle with any electronic suspension that, either mechanically or electronically, constantly measures the height of the vehicle, and reports this information back to the control module so that the computer can identify if changes in height need to be adjusted accordingly. The ride height sensor is a moving part, and like all moving parts, they will eventually wear out.
2005-2009 Range Rover Sport Air Lines- Tubes that carry pressurized air from an onboard air compressor to the rubber air spring portion of the struts. The air springs inflate and deflate to adjust the height of the vehicle.
2005-2009 Range Rover Sport Compressor- Creates and sends pressurized to active suspension components. When the air suspension starts leaking, the compressor (also called an air pump) starts working harder to try to keep the system inflated. By the time air suspension leaks down completely, sitting the vehicle on its tires, the compressor will either have failed or be well on its way to full failure. Buying replacement air struts and taking the time to install them, only to find out the compressor still needs to be replaced, can be very frustrating and expensive.
2005-2009 Range Rover Sport Dryer Assembly- used to keep moisture out of air lines and air springs in order to prevent freezing and internal cracking of these parts. Once air suspension starts leaking, moisture will build-up throughout the air system. Moisture damages the air suspension from the inside. The dryer will need to be replaced in order to eliminate the moisture and prevent any further damage.
2005-2009 Range Rover Sport Suspension Control Module- a computer which is responsible for the operations of the air suspension system and maintaining the vehicle's correct ride height.
2005-2009 Range Rover Sport O-rings- Although they are the least expensive parts of the air suspension, they are responsible for maintaining the seal where all of the air lines connect. Be sure to replace the O-rings when repairing any air suspension system.

I purchased my RRS used in March of this year with 105.000 miles. I found the one I wanted out of state and after purchasing it I drove it back to Kansas. After about 100 mile, I get this suspension light and the vehicle began to drive almost like riding on a boat. I took it to the dealer in my state and they quoted me an extremely high price to fix the suspension system. needless to say I was dumbfounded at the cost to repair a system that I realized, I would never use…..I am not taking this vehicle off-road or rock climbing. So I began to search for a solution to my suspension issues. I found Strutmasters and talked with Darrell who ensured me that I would like this product (LB44F) for my RRS. He was right, After having these installed I have driven this vehicle every where with no concerns of being stranded and the ride is wonderful. I highly recommend this product for your vehicle if you are needing an alternative to the high cost of constant air system maintenance.
After having trouble with air suspension, and working on all details involved, Darrell at strutmasters had explained what was needed and the advantages of using a conversion kit. Wish I’d of come across Darrell first. don’t have the part yet, but after doing all the leg work, I know this will be all good.
Well made. Exact fit.
For the past 2 yrs I have had several issues with the Air Lift Suspension System for my 2005 Rover- needless to say- each trip to the dealer was not free!! At the end of July 2016, my suspension system started to fail. I then ordered Strutmasters LB44F Air Strut Conversion kit (4 struts)- The struts were put on as of 8/19/16. After receiving my car back from the shop, I drove my vehicle home. All I can say about the ride with the LB44F Struts is Wow!!!!! The overall ride is 100% better than the ride my vehicle gave me over the past 2 yrs!! The lift of the vehicle is now perfect!!! In addition the price I paid for the kit seems like pennies on the dollar based on the new value I get with each ride. Thanks Strutmasters!!!
