Why Choose Strutmasters Instead Of Those Other GuysEach part that makes up the air suspension system on the 2007-2013 GMC Suburban 1500 must always function in sync. When one part stops working, the rest follow suit. Strutmasters' air to non-air suspension conversion kit gets rid of this reliance. Made in the USA, the kit comes complete with two Eibach coil springs, two shocks for the rear, and two pre-assembled front strut assemblies with Eibach springs. Customers like that the kit is installed in as little as one hour per wheel, thanks to accompanying detailed instructions and online installation videos. ASE certified experts are on hand to offer technical support, and each kit is backed by Strutmasters' Lifetime Limited Warranty. Designed to save Suburban 1500 customers time, frustration, and money, this kit really fits the bill. It costs a fraction of the prices of dealership direct replacement and individual part replacement.
How Do I know If My Suburban 1500 Air Suspension is failing? The key to avoiding total failure of your suspension system is early detection. Look for these common signs of a bad suspension in the 2007-2013 GMC Suburban 1500. One sagging end, one inflated end, a shifting lean from side to side, or an overall “squatting” appearance are examples of ride height variances that indicate a bad suspension. These imbalances will eventually wear out the air compressor. When this happens, a suspension warning light will illuminate on the instrument cluster. The Suburban 1500 owner should have any suspension issue fixed promptly to avoid an expensive repair.

Suspension Components ListThe 2007-2013 GMC Suburban 1500 is built with the following suspension components: 2007-2013 GMC Suburban 1500 Air Shocks (x2)- shocks that contain an air bladder with dampening capabilities controlled by the suspension control module. 2007-2013 GMC Suburban 1500 Coil Springs (x4)- Steel coil springs hold the vehicle up, but be careful! The factory coil springs are rated for and designed to work with the rest of the active suspension system. When you change air shocks and electronic struts to passive units, you will need a different rated coil spring that works well with the new passive units. 2007-2013 GMC Suburban 1500 Shock Absorbers (x2)- metal tubing filled with gas-charged hydraulic fluid and tiny metal particles, manipulated by an electronic current. The electronic struts are connected to the wheel of a vehicle in order to reduce the effects of vertical travel on a rough surface which controls the bounciness, and therefore comfort, of a vehicle. 2007-2013 GMC Suburban 1500 Air Lines- tubes that run from a compressor (air suspension) to the air struts which carry pressurized air to the air bags components in order to adjust the height of the vehicle, respectively. 2007-2013 GMC Suburban 1500 Solenoids (x4)- usually L-shaped, these plastic components connect the electrical connection and lines of suspension components to the suspension control module on vehicles with active suspension. The solenoid regulates the air pressure for each air spring. Solenoids start to leak as they wear out causing the vehicle to sag or to lean. This will cause the ride height sensor to send a signal to activate the compressor in an attempt to inflate the air suspension and level out the vehicle. This excessive work load will eventually lead to total failure of the compressor. 2007-2013 GMC Suburban 1500 Compressor- creates/sends pressurized to active suspension components. When the air suspension starts leaking, the compressor/pump starts working harder to try to keep the system inflated. By the time air suspension leaks down completely, sitting the vehicle on its tires, the compressor will either have failed or be well on its way to full failure. Buying replacement struts and taking the time to install them only to find out the compressor still needs to be replaced can be very frustrating, time-consuming, and expensive. 2007-2013 GMC Suburban 1500 Dryer Assembly- used to keep moisture out of air lines and air springs in order to prevent freezing and internal cracking of these parts. Once air suspension starts leaking, moisture will build-up throughout the air system. Moisture damages the air suspension from the inside. The dryer will need to be replaced in order to eliminate the moisture and prevent any further damage. 2007-2013 GMC Suburban 1500 Suspension Control Module- a computer which is responsible for the operations of the air suspension system and maintaining the vehicleâs correct ride height. 2007-2013 GMC Suburban 1500 O-rings- Although they are the least expensive parts of the air suspension, they are responsible for maintaining the seal where all of the air lines connect. Be sure to replace the O-rings when repairing any air suspension system.

I called Strutmasters and spoke to Jason and he was quick to answer any questions I had. He was very knowledgeable of Strutmasters kits and assisted me in ordering the proper kit for my vehicle. The kit was delivered quickly and I installed it easily. The module worked just like the kit said and shut off the light in the dash. If I was to fix another vehicle I would purchase a Strutmaster kit again and will recommend it to anyone who is wishing to delete the air suspension on a vehicle.
I recently had a customer with an 07 Denali come in with issues to his air suspension. I heard from my tech about Strutmasters and did some research and ended up recommending it. Kit was delivered promptly, was easy to install, and worked perfect. Highly recommend this 4 wheel kit if your running into issues relating to these Denalis. Will @ Strutmasters was of great help and will recommend him in the future.
