Roadmaster Active Suspension Kits



Roadmaster Active Suspension has just introduced their latest Easy Fit rear spring suspension upgrade.  These new kits can be installed in less than 30 minutes and still provide all the best features of the previous Roadmaster Active Suspension Kits!

The advantage of this new design is the ease of installation, with no loosening or removal of U bolts or U bolt nuts required. With the majority of kits, the installation has been greatly simplified, and will take less than half the time to install compared to the previous models.

The New Easy-Fit kits provide all the same benefits and features that Roadmaster Active Suspension (RAS) is renowned for over the past 15 years. This outstanding patented product is the only leaf spring suspension upgrade on the market that converts Passive rear leaf springs to Active leaf springs by transforming them into a system that absorbs load force. A traditional passive suspension system only resists load.

Traditionally, automotive suspension has been a compromise among three conflicting criteria: road handling, load carrying and passenger comfort. The suspension system must support the vehicle, provide directional control during handling maneuvers, and provide effective insulation for passengers and payload from disturbances.

Roadmaster Active Suspension (RAS) overcomes the limitations of passive suspension by introducing mechanically active suspension to the rear leaf springs thereby conquering the traditional three-way load vs handling vs comfort conflict. Once fitted, RAS has the ability to store, dissipate and introduce energy to the system. Being mechanical its action is immediate, unlike hydraulics or air which take time to react. This immediate action is also variable, working in exact counter proportion to force applied, hence the term active.
