Why Choose Strutmasters Instead Of Those Other Guys
The various components of the 2005-2009 Range Rover LR-3's suspension system must always work together. When one part stops working, the rest follow suit. Strutmasters' air to non-air suspension conversion kit eliminates this reliance for good. The kit comes complete with two pre-assembled front strut assemblies with Eibach springs and two pre-assembled rear strut assemblies with Eibach springs. The kit is installed in as little as one hour per wheel, and no modifications are needed. It's a direct replacement solution. Detailed instructions and online installation videos offer precise repair directions that are easy to follow. The quality parts are backed by Strutmasters' Lifetime Limited Warranty. Lastly, the cost of the kit is a fraction of the price of Original Equipment replacement at the dealership or buying individual aftermarket replacement parts.
How Do I know If My LR-3 L320 Chassis Air Suspension is failing?
Loss of three to five inches in ride height is a classic indicator that the air suspension system is leaking or failed. Look for these common signs of a bad suspension on the 2005-2009 Range Rover LR-3 before it's too late and total failure sets in. A sudden height variance between different sides of the LR-3 is a red flag. This may look like one sagging end, one inflated end, a shifting lean from side to side, or a “squatting down” appearance. Other common symptoms are an illuminated suspension warning light on the dashboard and an improperly working air compressor. A bad suspension will place extra strain on the air compressor, so it will wear out quickly. A Range Rover LR-3 owner will want any suspension issue fixed as soon as it presents itself to avoid a costly repair.

Suspension Components List
The 2005-2009 Range Rover LR-3 is built with the following suspension components:
2005-2009 Range Rover LR-3 Air Struts (x4)- struts that contain a rubber air bladder, managed by a suspension control module. These struts dampen vibration and bounciness caused by travel on rough surfaces. The rubber air springs (also called air bags) help support the weight of the vehicle and maintain the correct ride height.
2005-2009 Range Rover LR-3 Height Sensors (x4)- a linkage located near each wheel of a vehicle with any electronic suspension that, either mechanically or electronically, constantly measures the height of the vehicle, and reports this information back to the control module so that the computer can identify if changes in height need to be adjusted accordingly. The ride height sensor is a moving part, and like all moving parts, they will eventually wear out.
2005-2009 Range Rover LR-3 Air Lines- tubes that carry pressurized air from an onboard air compressor to the rubber air spring portion of the struts.
2005-2009 Range Rover LR-3 Compressor- Creates and sends pressurized air to active suspension components. When the air suspension system starts leaking, the compressor (also called an air pump) starts working harder to try to keep the system inflated. By the time air suspension leaks down completely, sitting the vehicle on its tires, the compressor will either have failed or be well on its way to full failure. Buying replacement air struts and installing them, only to find out the compressor still needs to be replaced, can be very frustrating and expensive.
2005-2009 Range Rover LR-3 Dryer Assembly- used to keep moisture out of air lines and air springs in order to prevent freezing and internal cracking of these parts. Once air suspension starts leaking, moisture will build-up throughout the air system. Moisture damages the air suspension from the inside. The dryer will need to be replaced in order to eliminate the moisture and prevent any further damage.
2005-2009 Range Rover LR-3 Suspension Control Module- a computer which is responsible for the operations of the air suspension system and maintaining the vehicle's correct ride height.
2005-2009 Range Rover LR-3 O-rings- Although they are the least expensive parts of the air suspension, they are responsible for maintaining the seal where all of the air lines connect. Be sure to replace the O-rings when repairing any air suspension system.

I purchased my RRS used in March of this year with 105.000 miles. I found the one I wanted out of state and after purchasing it I drove it back to Kansas. After about 100 mile, I get this suspension light and the vehicle began to drive almost like riding on a boat. I took it to the dealer in my state and they quoted me an extremely high price to fix the suspension system. needless to say I was dumbfounded at the cost to repair a system that I realized, I would never use…..I am not taking this vehicle off-road or rock climbing. So I began to search for a solution to my suspension issues. I found Strutmasters and talked with Darrell who ensured me that I would like this product (LB44F) for my RRS. He was right, After having these installed I have driven this vehicle every where with no concerns of being stranded and the ride is wonderful. I highly recommend this product for your vehicle if you are needing an alternative to the high cost of constant air system maintenance.
After having trouble with air suspension, and working on all details involved, Darrell at strutmasters had explained what was needed and the advantages of using a conversion kit. Wish I’d of come across Darrell first. don’t have the part yet, but after doing all the leg work, I know this will be all good.
Well made. Exact fit.
For the past 2 yrs I have had several issues with the Air Lift Suspension System for my 2005 Rover- needless to say- each trip to the dealer was not free!! At the end of July 2016, my suspension system started to fail. I then ordered Strutmasters LB44F Air Strut Conversion kit (4 struts)- The struts were put on as of 8/19/16. After receiving my car back from the shop, I drove my vehicle home. All I can say about the ride with the LB44F Struts is Wow!!!!! The overall ride is 100% better than the ride my vehicle gave me over the past 2 yrs!! The lift of the vehicle is now perfect!!! In addition the price I paid for the kit seems like pennies on the dollar based on the new value I get with each ride. Thanks Strutmasters!!!
