Thought I was stuck with replacing air bags when I heard of the Strutmasters conversion. Checked online and watched the video, but decided to have a local repair shop do the installation. Very happy with the results (and cost). Raised the back end of my ’99 Expedition by 7″ over the ‘blown’ bags. On the drive today, it handled like a ‘new’ car, but has 237K on it. Guess I’ll keep it for another 100K.

Our delivery was right on time. it took me about 45min to install the kit on our expedition. The difference it made was amazing. It was like going from driving a school bus to driving a sports car. again thank you very much.
“Already completed the change over. I wish to thank you for all of your help. The customer service I received from you was first class. I appreciate it and by the way I cannot believe the ride that I have now on my expedition.
I bought it new in 2001 and it has never drove or ridden this well (outstanding product). Also I had a question and called the service tech line but due to the holiday weekend you had only 2 techs working I was ask to give my number instead of waiting on hold which I did and within minutes a service tech called me back and resolved the problem he was also very nice and customer service oriented

First I must commend John at extension 248. I called at 4:40 on wednesday and he placed the order and had it out on the truck that was leaving within minutes. I got the part friday afternoon. The part was made of good quality. Installation only took 2 hours for both sides including replacing shocks. It required basic tools and a floor jack. I highly recommend to anyone who has the air ride system. The truck rides so much better than it ever has!
tried myself to install shocks but could not find a spring compressor for that small of coils. had my mechanic install shocks, he said it took 2 mechanics to install the shocks.i called tech support and they could not tell me where to find a spring compressor

“I’m very pleased with my car part. The online ordering process was quick and easy. When I called to follow-up regarding my order your staff showed excellent customer service and concerned. There is nothing I would change in your process.
Thank you so much! I plan to use you again if needed and recommend my
family and friends to your company.”
Okay, Strutmaster warned me…I did not listen. Ordered the 3rd compressor for our 1997 Expedition. I should have listened to them and gone to springs 3 years ago. They are knowledgeable and quick. Endorse them 100%. Jerry, Lake Havasu City, AZ
As promised the new ride is excellent and the swap was as easy as following the instructions. Thanks for giving me back my Expedition at a price I couldn’t pass up. Here are the Before and After.
1997-2002 Ford Expedition 4WD 4 Wheel Suspension Conversion Kit Rear Shocks Kit FX14F Review Daniel E Rumney
I purchased the kit and with the help of a buddy we were able to jack and secure the vehicle; remove all the old necessary items; install the shocks and springs on the rear in about 2.5 hours. The only “problem” we encountered was on the left rear (drivers side) upper shock bolt was a bit difficult to access for removal and re-installation, which added an additional 30 minutes time total to the total job. Over all it was not too bad to do yourself. It took another 45 minutes for the 2 front shocks, including jacking and securing and removing and installation of the two new (standard shocks). Over all it was not that bad to do.
