“Just wanted to let you know that the sales person: Jason is a great person to have working for you! Called in, had me taken care of in a flash! Kudos to him!!!
I traded a vehicle about a month ago for a 98 lincoln navigator, They told me the bags were flat but seeing how I’ve never had anything with bags i had no clue what they were talking about… lol… I soon found out. The ride home with the rearend sitting on the frame was the worst ride in my life. So I started looking around on how to fix it I’m not mechanically inclined, and i found myself on strutmasters website i ordered the kit for front and back with new shocks and then had to figure out how to install, well after many calls and no more money i had to do it myself remember I’m not mechanically inclined but i tell you it Could’nt have been easier i did the back one day and the front the next and man does it ride like a dream now just want to say thanks to Strutmasters without you all id be in and out of shops spending thousands but now I don’t have to worry about it thank you
INSTALLED MY REAR KIT TODAY AND I’M GREATLY SUPRISED AND SATISFIED, THE RIDE IS OUTSTANDING AND IT FEELS SOOOOO MUCH BETTER. I’M LOOKING FOR BUMPS NOW TO RIDE OVER (LOL). I WILL BE ORDERING THE KIT FOR THE FRONT REAL SOON AND CAN’T WAIT TO PUT IT ON. THEY WERE VERY SIMPLE TO PUT ON ESPECIALLY WITH THE VIDEO AND INSTRUCTIONS. I WILL RECOMMEND THE CONVERSION KIT TO ANYBODY WITH AIR SUSPENSION. THANKS AGAIN.
1997-2002 Lincoln Navigator & Ford Expedition 4 Wheel Air Suspension Conversion Kit 4WD Review Patrick
i received my conversion kit today for my dads navigator it took 2.5 hrs to put in and the truck rides like it did new. i did it in my driveway with jack stands and a 3 ton jack i will recommend to anyone with an air suspension problem and your sales person diego was very helpful thanks so much
“1/19/2010- I just installed this kit in my suv. The ride is much better and I don’t hear the pump runing any more. There is no bounce from sagging air shocks and the ride height it back to original. This was not an easy job but most garage guys should be able to handle it. A spring compressor for the rear is a must and for the front it better to drop the lower control arm. Mine is a 97 and from the north east. I purchased the front & Rear
conversion kit only. I should have purchased the full kit with the ball joints and controll arms. The salt has eaten it all up. I do suggest a BIG can of luquid wrench to spray all bolts prior to doing the job. I am very happy with the sales people and this product.”
Quick shipping, Great looking springs and front conversion shocks. Took me all of 2 hours to install rear springs… and it rides fantastic !!! Looking forward to the front shocks installation experience and the restored smooth ride on my 1999 Navigator. Thanks again !!! P.S. Awsome installation video !!!
“What the video DOESN’T show you, is that the drivers side requires A LOT of patience for the rear spring. This was most definately not a job for one person on the garage floor. Having an extra hand to hold things in place and press down on the axle worked well though. Passenger side, no problem, just like the video.
Fronts went in way easier than in the video. You don’t HAVE to remove the upper A arm unless you are replacing it. The shock slides out through the bottom and new coil over slides right in. Requires a bit of man handling, but was able to do each side in 10 minutes.
Also, turning off the suspension light isnt a simple fix. Didnt know I had to rip apart my dash, so I havent done it yet.
Rides nicely though, so far no problems, think this is a GREAT fix.”
Other than that, your staff was courteous, helpful, knowledgeable and your service was great, Thanks for all you did with this order. Randy
“I replaced my rear Air springs with Strutmaster regular springs last weekend. The entire job took about 3 hours and most of that time was getting my Expedition lifted high enough work on it. The jacks that I have, lifted the Expedition high enough to to change the tire but not high enough to pull the axle down to provide room to install the new spring (For safety, I did use jack stands once the vehicle was lifted). Once that was solved the replacement went smoothly.
All in all I’m very happy with the springs and I’m glad to be rid of my problematic rear air suspension. If and when the front suspension goes, I will definitely replace it with you standard spring/shock front suspension kit.
