I have a 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis with 79,000 miles on it. My air suspension light has been on for a year but the suspension still had air and rode well. My car finally dropped low and the compressor was not working. A new compressor is about $140. Once that is fixed, you can keep throwing money at it (air bags, sensor, relays, etc). I wanted to convert it to springs to get rid of the problem overall. I was going to buy a Monroe conversion kit at a parts store but after more research found Strutmasters was the only company that came with Eibach springs and that were made in the US. The kit arrived within 5 days. The installation was not as fast as they claim, but much easier that I expected. From start to finish, including replacing the front shocks, it took 3.5 hours. The hardest part of the entire process was working in the small spaces to unbolt the rear shocks. I was more than satisfied with the entire process, from shipping time to installation. I would highly recommend this company and this product.
Have had great experience with all of the products–great support and customer service!! Highly recommend this company!

“Great inexpensive alternative for us.”
Mercury Grand Marquis, Ford Crown Victoria, Lincoln Town Car Rear Air Suspension Conversion Kit (FA1R0) Review James Lee
I installed the kit in approximately 2 hours. Car rides so much better. Only problem I have is compressor still kicks on when rear end is a bit low. Instructions say to turn air ride switch back on after cutting wire to eliminate dash light. Don’t understand reason for that but minor issue.

I got a strut kit from you, springs and shocks. I really needed them because they had gone out on my car. Had a problem getting around and I called you and you got the parts to me within a couple of days, and you did a wonderful job, explaining a lot of things to me, helping me putting those parts on the vehice, I areally appreciate what you did.
Just wanted to let you know that ordering was very simple and I appreciated the help with ordering the right part for my car. I have already installed the airlift 1000 and it works great. Very easy to install also. My vehicle carrys alot of weight. I will let you know if I have any problems. I do not anticipate any. Thanks again
I’m a retired (24 yrs) service disabled veteran who was just diagnosed with liver cancer. I installed the air bag spring conversion kit on my 95 Town Car in under two hours including rotating the tires with no problems. It was an easy install with excellent instructions. I had considered the purchase of your Air Bag complete kit (bags, drier, compressor) to keep it OEM because I couldn’t beat the price anywhere else. Even with a discount account at OREILLY’S, your price was $300 lower.
Thank You for a great product

“Thank you, everything went together well, as planned. I am sorry to say I forgot to take any pictures. I really meant to do that, because my airbags were completely shot! Thanks for a good product.
