2014 Diesel JGC here. Ride quality is a bit more jeep-like after the air suspension delete - not really a bad thing, but I'm getting used to a different driving experience. Vehicle sits well, doesn't roll much in turns.
I was hoping the electric component would be able to fool the computer better than it does. A non-dash-light code still persists in the computer about a lost connection to the suspension module.

It was a leap of faith to go with the Strutmaster kit, but I am glad I did. I could never get anyone to get me a fixed cost to repair the existing Quadra-Lift air suspension system and there were no guarantees that after I spent the money that it would not break down again. This fix is permanent and I knew the cost up front. The ride is not as smooth as the air suspension system but close. So far, so good.

The instructions were a little misleading for the rear assembly of the springs. I put them in upside down at first but corrected them pretty quickly.
The front was a challenge with the front axle but I was able to do the job after watching the video. The rough thing was the installation of the electrical box to bypass the computer. The shrink tubing was not the right size and the electrical connection where to big. I would recommend just soldering the wires together. But I did get it done and it works great. The whole job took me the weekend. I was not in a hurry. The ride is better than before . It more solid. So I’m happy with the conversation. Thanks !!

Was told that my car needs time to settle since it doesn't have the correct equipment so hopefully that's correct because the noise is loud and annoying .

Our Jeep had Air Suspension issues before we bought it which the manufacturer stated they fixed with a new ride height sensor. 3 years after purchase we received the first Air suspension message and it costs 3300 to replace the compressor, and valve body and air spring connectors. just after 2 years later the compressor started to stay on when the car was off and the warning came on, the next day the suspension was bottomed out. the dealer filled it with nitrogen mix and then couldn't find a leak, due to finding nothing wrong they thought it would be best to replace the compressor and valve body again. I did not agree with this repair and found Strutmaster kit. Any honest Jeep mechanic will tell you this Air suspension is the most common and expensive repair on Jeeps but Chrysler keeps selling them.
The Strutmaster order support person Kim was very helpful to make sure I ordered the right kit. The shipping was prompt and faster than promised. For the few questions I had during installation, the technical support team was very friendly and helpful. The installation guides did pretty well outlining the installation process and pretty much detailed everything along with pictures, however I did have to remove a rubber O ring from the hub assy. before the Rotors would release for removal, also I had to remove the rear brake assembly to allow for the lower control arm to drop low enough to put in the rear springs, this was not mentioned. I had to borrow a frontend kit from the autostore, which cost nothing, you just leave a deposit and it is given back once the tool is returned. While not necessary, but an impact wrench of around 1400 lbs really speeds it up and makes breaking stubborn nuts and bolts loose.
The kit works exactly as described and the electronic module has prevented any sort of air suspension warnings.
I'm so glad to have the expensive Air suspension issues which made it unreliable behind us. The strutmaster option is of course a ride comparable to any standard suspension and not as soft as an Air suspension but it avoids the high cost and unreliability of Jeep's Air suspension.

I had my local Jeep dealership install the shocks. They feel fine, maybe a little stiff but for the $$ saved not replacing my air suspension it is worth every penny. The dealership had some issues installing the module that clears the error codes but Strutmasters staff was very available in helping get the situation fixed. The product works well and they back up their product.

Installed this kit on a customers 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Removal and installation of the actual suspension parts went well. The module to turn off the service suspension light was faulty and we had to keep the vehicle until the new one came, Strutmasters did expedite a new module which we installed and now it works as it should. A couple of caveats with the electrical part is the headlights are no longer adaptive due to no height sensor input, and we used a scan tool to put the air bag system in service mode to release the nitrogen fill back to the tank and it must be taken out of service mode in order for the module to work correctly.

My 2011 Jeep Cherokee Overland's air suspension totally blew up. Dealer wanted about 5k and only warrantied work for 2 years. The strutmaster kit fit perfectly and the module cancells out the air suspension system warning, however the included shocks are not great. They seem soft especially in the rear where it's extremely soft. This kit is a good quick fix but I will definitely be upgrading at least the rears because I believe it would be unsuitable for towing or lugging 5 people or a bunch of cargo around. Overall 3.5/5 but I'll round up to 4/5 because the shipping was fast and the instructions were very detailed. Thanks strutmasters, just wish you guys made things a little stiffer...

Ordering and shipping were super fast. Install was tedious but the videos helped so much. Modules havent come in yet, they said two weeks and we are almost at two weeks. I called to see how big of a tire I could go up to and they said two sizes which is what we did and they rub really bad. I am now having to buy a 2" leveling kit for the front. In my opinion it does not lift it any higher than factory. Unfortunately I am going to be out more money for the leveling kit install. So do not expect this kit to level it out. Go ahead and get the pucks and install at the same time to save time and money. Just my two cents. Over all happy with the kit itself and relieved not to have to deal with the air ride anymore. Would definitely buy from them again.

2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the usual issues with the air suspension. Initially repaired by myself with replacement parts from another company. Also replaced the rear shocks and airbags but still had issues. Was going to try and replace the front struts and air compressor when decided to just go with the strutmaster system. I had a local mechanic install it. It does sit a little high in the front squats a little in the rear. But I am very happy with it. It's a little bit rougher than the air suspension but it rides like a Jeep now. My mechanic said it took him roughly 12 hours to install and that it was a little bit more difficult than what the video that strut master puts out, initially I was going to do it the work myself and I'm glad I did not do that. Don't have access to all the air tools or to another helper, both of which he said he needed.

In my opinion it does not lift it any higher than factory. Unfortunately I am going to be out more money for the leveling kit install. So do not expect this kit to level it out. Go ahead and get the pucks and install at the same time to save time and money. Just my two cents. Over all happy with the kit itself and relieved not to have to deal with the air ride anymore. Would definitely buy from them again.

Bolts right in, restores suspension to OEM specs, same ride height at half the price on new air ride system with no future worries. Didn't even need an alignment.
My seat memory seems to have suffered in the retro process tho. Module system compromise?

Every thing fit perfect even got about 2 inches lift in rear 1in front u have to take stabilizer u joint off to and pull hard to get axel out in front but it comes out easy pull straight out very happy no more air ride trouble in minn when temp drop to -25 - 30 below

The module box did not have any instructions in it. The shop modified the wiring. I guess he had a scanner. I will let you know what is not working as I drive to Kansas.

2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the usual issues with the air suspension. Initially repaired by myself with replacement parts from another company. Also replaced the rear shocks and airbags but still had issues. Was going to try and replace the front struts and air compressor when decided to just go with the strutmaster system. I had a local mechanic install it. It does sit a little high in the front squats a little in the rear. But I am very happy with it. It's a little bit rougher than the air suspension but it rides like a Jeep now. My mechanic said it took him roughly 12 hours to install and that it was a little bit more difficult than what the video that strut master puts out, initially I was going to do it the work myself and I'm glad I did not do that. Don't have access to all the air tools or to another helper, both of which he said he needed.

Don't waste your money replacing each air ride part it will cost a fortune. Our customer loved that we knew how to swap her air ride out and absolutely loves the ride.
