So, the kit arrived in a timely manner and as advertised. I am overall pleased with the ride thus far. Barring any unexpected and/or unforeseen equipment failure, I am definitely happy to leave the new and mounting frustrations of the air suspension system on my Ram 1500 Ecodiesel behind. It was great while it lasted, but quickly turned into a huge, NOT straight-forward and ongoing issue. I literally took it to a Dodge Dealer mechanic whose best answer was along the lines of replacing parts in the process of eliminating the problem: dollar signs and time with no guarantees!
I did not, however, end up putting in the light fix module. The instructions and procedure for that piece were a bit intimidating (to say the least), and I just did not want to run the risk of screwing something else up in the process of trying to fix my existing problem. What I ended up doing instead was finding another way to deal with it, which was no where in the literature/instructions that came with your kit. We removed 3 different fuses that disabled the air suspension system from a computer standpoint. This awesome information was found online via the Monroe conversion kit installation instructions. I do still get a brief message when I start the engine stating to service the air suspension system (about 3 seconds), but no warning light or sounds remain on. So, I am glad that I did not pursue trying to install the module because the trade off for removing a few fuses and seeing a brief message far outweighed the daunting task of putting in that module (we are talking removing the entire driver's seat, fusing wires together, etc). That being said, I wish I wound not have spent the extra money on it.
Lastly, I would like to offer some constructive criticism on the part in the instructions regarding removal of the air suspension system which basically said to refer to the manufacturers recommendations on how to do this. IF you can find such instructions that are actually laid out and user friendly, you are a better person than I am. If you are familiar with shocks, struts and the like, removal overall was not that difficult. The most intimidating piece of the air suspension removal was dealing with deflating the air mixture before disassembling the system. Your instructions were not helpful at all. I found another instructional reference that had you ordering a Mopar part to get the job done, which I wasn't convinced was necessary. Not giving up, I ended up finding a very user- friendly video through Google using the words "Ram air suspension deflation procedure." It was as simple as finding the right nut on the assembly and loosening it until the hissing sound of the air escaping ceased, which then made it safe to proceed. Easy!
I chose your product based on the reviews I read and the research I put into it. To my recollection, Strutmasters was the only entity during my research that offered the light fix module, which at the time seemed like an important piece to have. Knowing what I know now, it may still be a nice option, but the more important thing to know from a consumer, DIY point of view is that it is not necessary. Being transparent and user-friendly, not to mention offering a quality product which you back up, are what counts and what I look for in businesses. Maybe revisit the instructions included with your conversion kit as well because your competitor(s) nailed it.
Thank you for offering a product that deals with such a frustrating issue though. I appreciate the fact that you offer this option more than you know.

This kit is great! Rides as good if not better than the air ride. Only reasons for not giving it 5 stars are the risers to attach the the top of the struts we’re packaged in the box with the rear suspension components and the front had to be disassembled after install to attach. Also the holes drilled into the riser were not drilled big enough to go over the studs on the strut mounts and I had to make the holes bigger to fit. Overall a great kit.

Way cheaper then having the dealership screw me out of more money. They do not ride better then the Rebel OEM air ride system. The ride reminds me of my dads 1994 F150. If the dealership had not already taken me for $1500 and my OEM air suspension system was still not working properly I would have done more research and looked for a better solution. Will this setup get you out of a bind yes. Will I be able to tow a trailer and the rear suspension system return to normal height after the trailer is disconnected the jury is still out on that one.

They’ve been on for two weeks, they are definitely not air shocks, but I wasn’t expecting them to be. They have a good height and feel. Definitely worth switching over if you don’t have the means to continuously, fix air shocks.

So far, I'm very pleased with the shocks and struts. Initially, they seemed very stiff and tight which made them a bit rough, but I think that is working itself out with a little time. I am happy with the change.

So far so good! Only have them for a few days now but it did save me a lot. Unfortunately, I am one of those that my 2017 Rebel Air Suspension system has given up on me. Like others mentioned, I did notice the back portion is lower than the front (not much). I will probably put the 1.5 inch leveling kit just to keep the truck level and for towing/hauling appearance. Also didn’t use the light fix module (just took off the designated fuses and use alfaobd to disable the suspension). Just don’t like the “wire splicing.” Highly recommend the product.

I bought my 2916 RAM 1500 Rebel used and unfortunately had no idea about the trouble the factory air suspension could be. After wasting time and money on previous ‘fixes’ I finally decided enough is enough. The Strutmaster Kit and dealer labor to install was not cheap, but man, am I glad I finally took the plunge. The truck ride is fantastic and I don’t have to worry about the next shoe to drop on the crap system. The truck sits high, but I love that. I HIGHLY recommend the Strutmaster conversion kit.
