Our customers like to tell us the main reason why they switched from air suspension to our non-air suspension conversion kit is the low price, coupled with the high quality of the parts we use. We offer the only kits on the market that include world renowned Eibach springs. We are The Suspension Experts, and we came up with a direct replacement solution that eliminates all the complicated electrical components of the Grand Marquis air suspension system that keep giving you a headache. The kit includes two premium rear Eibach springs and two premium rear shocks. The conversion is more affordable and reliable than the original OEM equipment. We stand behind every product we sell with our Lifetime Limited Warranty. DIYers love the kit because installation is simple, no modifications are required. It is installed in about one hour per wheel, and the suspension warning light turns off after about thirty minutes. Each kit is accompanied by easy to read installation instructions that include pictures and helpful support material. We have an exclusive YouTube channel- check it out to watch videos of experts performing real suspension conversions while you perform your own repair. How Do I know If My Town Car Air Suspension is failing?
Although your 2003-2011 Mercury Grand Marquis has served you well over the years, you want to be able to recognize the signs of a failed or leaking air suspension system so that you can remedy the situation before it is too late. There are a couple common symptoms to look for that can help you diagnose if the air suspension is going bad, or if you are dealing with total failure. The clearest sign of failure is a major difference in the height from the front to the rear of the vehicle. Usually, the rear will sag (it will look like it’s squatting down in the rear end), while the front will remain inflated. Make sure to look for an illuminated suspension warning light on the instrument panel, and take it seriously if you see it there. Listen to the air suspension compressor. If it has stopped working or is running too long (longer than 15-20 seconds maximum), then it is likely you need some sort of air suspension repair or replacement. The longer you leave it, without getting it fixed, the more the other components will wear out too.

Suspension Components List
The 2003-2011 Lincoln Town Car is built with the following suspension components:
2003-2011 Lincoln Town Car Air Springs (x2)- commonly referred to as air bags, a plastic and rubber bag that uses pressurized air (instead of a metal coil spring) to support the weight of the rear of the vehicle. Cracks in the rubber portion of the air springs are the number one cause of all air suspension leaks. Since all air springs go bad at about the same rate, if one is leaking, the others will not be far behind. For a proper repair, all of them need to be replaced at the same time.
2003-2011 Lincoln Town Car Rear Gas Shocks (x2)- This vehicle is equipped with 2 rear gas shocks. These shocks are what absorb the impact of the rear tires hitting the road and make the vehicle ride smoothly.
2003-2011 Lincoln Town Car Solenoids (x4)- This vehicle is equipped with 4 solenoids. These plastic components connect the electrical connection and lines of suspension components to the suspension control module. The solenoids are responsible for regulating the air pressure in each air spring or air shock. Solenoids are a small piece of the suspension system but they play a big role in how well it functions. If a solenoid is not working properly, it will cause the vehicle to be unlevel and, in turn, cause the compressor to burn out.
2003-2011 Lincoln Town Car Compressor- This vehicle is equipped with one air suspension compressor. The compressor is responsible for pumping up the air springs and shocks. When the air suspension starts leaking, the compressor is forced to run continuously to try and keep the air springs inflated. After a couple of days of running non-stop, the compressor will burn itself out. Replacing the compressor is a timely and expensive project to undertake.
2003-2011 Lincoln Town Car Dryer Assembly- This vehicle is equipped with a dryer assembly. The dryer assembly is responsible for getting moisture out of the air lines. Once the air suspension parts start to leak, moisture will build up throughout the air system. Moisture damages the air suspension components from the inside out. The dryer must be replaced whenever the compressor is replaced to prevent further damage.
2003-2011 Lincoln Town Car Suspension Control Module- This vehicle is equipped with a suspension control module. This module is the brain of the suspension system and it reads all of the signals that are being sent by the height sensors and determines if the vehicle needs to be raised or lowered.
2003-2011 Lincoln Town Car O-rings- Although they are the least expensive parts of the air suspension, they are responsible for maintaining the seal where all of the air lines connect. Be sure to replace the O-rings when repairing any air suspension system.

Experienced loss of air ride system on the Town Car ( 203,000 + miles). Our research and the recommendations of trusted friends led us to Strutmasters and the purchase of the FA3RB Kit for switching the air ride to springs. This fit our retired economics and the switch over went well. We drove the car nearly 2000 miles with the new springs. We decided to go back to the air ride due to my wife’s advancing arthritis condition (she will be 80 in August and must wear a back brace). When we contacted Strutmasters, President Lofton and his staff involved themselves totally in successfully restoring the air ride system. We are thankful to them for their earnest concern, care, and professional competence in satisfying our needs. We were so pleased with their attitude, courtesy, kindness, and hospitality in conducting their mission of satisfying their customers. We would readily recommend Strutmasters as a primary source for any automotive needs one might have. We additionally think that in cases other than our specials needs case the springs would function acceptably. Dan and Marion Pritchard
Strutmasters replacement suspension is a blessing to the alternative of costly air bag replacements that do not last. You cannot go wrong with Strutmasters. Great communications and very helpful
I reviewed the site and spoke with Jason, great customer service, installation went well. I had to use hydraulic jack to install springs. The ride is excellent! My car is more sporty. What a great product!
Will at Strutmasters was courteous and professional, and made ordering a breeze. Thank you. Now when I see a Lincoln “sitting down,” I tell them to go to Strutmasters.com I consider it my good deed for the day.
I ordered the appropriate set of springs and shocks for my Lincoln Town Car; the old air bag system quit on me, and I didn’t want to spend huge bucks on replacing that system…especially after I discovered Strutmasters!
Very pleased with your customer service. I called and ordered on a Sunday afternoon, and had the products by Wednesday…as promised!
I tackled the job myself, in my garage, last Saturday (Aug. 27), and as your literature said, it took me about an hour and a half per side. Your directions were complete and very helpful (enough detail, but not too much).
I did have one difficulty, however. I couldn’t lower the axle enough to fit the new springs, so I borrowed a set of spring compressors from a neighbor, and that solved my problem.
I especially appreciate the quality of your product: good brand-name springs and Gabriel shocks. After installing everything, I took the car for a test drive, and everything worked as it should. Couldn’t be happier! The price was excellent, I thought, and all-in-all it was a very good experience. I’d buy from you again, if I had the same problem with another vehicle.
Thank you so much for being a quality outfit!
We installed these in our Lincoln Town Car. Strutmasters does a great job helping. Everyone is great to deal with.
Donielle was a lot of help determining that I would be better off using a suspension conversion rather than replacing air parts. She was very knowledgeable and pleasant. I just ordered the parts but I feel confident it will do just fine.
