These air sacks are by far the leading cause of all air suspension leaks. The hydraulic portion of the struts themselves help dampen vibration and control ride ride quality by reducing bounciness. If the vehicle has over 80,000 miles, it is likely the hydraulic strut itself is worn out, too. 2003-2004 Lincoln Navigator Height Sensors (x4)- These small linkages can be found next to each wheel of your Navigator. They are constantly monitoring the height of the vehicle at each wheel and sending that information back to the suspension control module. Coil over units appear to be very heavy duty. I also installed a lift/leveling kit at the same time, which made installation more difficult, but ended up with the ride height I was looking for. My Navigator has variable speed power steering assist, but I didn’t have any noticeable effect on steering effort at low speed like the instructions with the bypass module warned about. Taking it in tomorrow for a 4 wheel alignment. Very happy with your product.

Everything arrived in good order no damage the person I got it for is in their navigator all he has to do now is find someone to put it in. 2003-2004 Lincoln Navigator Premium 4-Wheel Air Suspension Conversion System With Module (FX24FM)

I own a 2004 Lincoln Navigator Ultimate that has 39,000 original miles. The suspension system finally after 20 years of great service, died on me. The system is so complicated, it will drive you nuts and you will pay outrageous prices to have repaired at the dealer with no guarantee the system will work as it once did. Bite the bullet and install the coil over struts and shocks and be done with that system forever. Install was not that bad, instructions are clear. Install for all wheels was about 4 hours. I am impressed with the handling and height. You will lose your power assist when the module is installed. There is no way around this, unless you do not install the module, but you will look at the "check suspension" error on the dash. I would rather not look at that error. Steering is stiff at low speeds and parking, but not terrible. I am very pleased with Strutmasters and have used their products on my 94 Cadillac Deville, 2004 Cadillac Deville and now my Navigator. Highly recommend this lifetime fix! Thank you, Tammy for excellent customer service!

I decided to eliminate my air suspension on my navigator. Was just having more and more problems. Researching what my options were Strutmasters pretty quickly rose to the top of the list. There were cheaper ways to go but living in the mountains you need a well handling vehicle. Not being a mechanic but mechanically inclined, it took me about a day to install. I took a real casual approach to the install and it was surprisingly problem free. I love the stance, and the ride and handling are top-notch. The new replacement shocks for the previous air bags are great! There is a slight power steering assist problem upon startup and turning the wheel, but that goes away very quickly and everything's awesome after that. 2003-2004 Lincoln Navigator Premium 4-Wheel Air Suspension Conversion System With Module (FX24FM)

I received the struts and installed them into the 2004 Navigator without issues. The improvement in the ride over the OEM Air Ride Suspension with 135,000 miles on it was immediately evident. The wallow and roll was gone, the car sets flat on the turns and is a comfortable ride. Whether they compare to a new air ride suspension, I cannot say not having owned the vehicle when it was new, but for an older car the conversion cost is far more dollar friendly than trying to keep the air suspension system in a working state. One comment that I will make is I would the ability to tow something with tongue weight, as well as having the truck loaded with vacation gear. I would like to see a manually inflated air shock available for the rear suspension. This would allow the vehicle to be leveled when loaded and/or towing something with additional tongue weight. It will be interesting to see how these conversion units handle that scenario.
