Suspension Failure Signs
You will know if your suspension is leaking or failed on your 2006-2011 Cadillac DTS if you notice any of these common symptoms. A sudden noticeable uneven height difference between the rear and front of the Lucerne is a common sign. There may also be sagging- from side to side or rear to front. One side might look inflated, or perhaps the Lucerne is “leaning.” If you notice the Lucerne appears to be “squatting,” too low to the ground, you may have a bad suspension. Overall ride height is really important- it should always be consistent and appropriate to the Lucerne factory standards. Check the instrument cluster- if a suspension warning light or message is illuminated, that’s another indicator. A non working air compressor also might mean you need a repair or suspension replacement.
