Replaced Components
2007-2013 Chevrolet Tahoe Air Shocks (x2) - This pair of shocks is controlled electronically by your Tahoe's suspension computer or suspension control module. Rather than metal coils, they use air bladders to soften the ride.
2007-2013 Chevrolet Tahoe Coil Springs (x4) - The coil springs featured on your Chevrolet are designed specifically to work with its OEM active suspension. In order to convert your vehicle to a passive suspension you will need new springs which are designed to work with that type of suspension.
2007-2013 Chevrolet Tahoe Air Lines - These hoses bring pressurized air from the compressor into the air springs. This air is used to inflate your Tahoe's air springs and keep them at the proper ride height.
2007-2013 Chevrolet Tahoe Solenoids (x4)- The solenoids on your Tahoe are little plastic components in charge of regulating the air pressure in each of the car's air struts. They are the electrical and mechanical components of the computer system. They are one of several components in an air suspension that inevitably begins to leak with age. This leakage will lead to excess stress on the compressor and other components which will cause them to wear out more quickly.
2007-2013 Chevrolet Tahoe Compressor - The air compressor on your Chevy is where the pressurized air which inflates the system is generated. This component also pushes that air out into the air struts to inflate them. More often than not it is the most expensive component in an air suspension system in terms of repairs or replacement.
2007-2013 Chevrolet Tahoe Dryer Assembly - Either through freezing or leading to cracking of the air lines or air springs, moisture causes serious damage to air suspensions from the inside out. For this reason, your Tahoe has a built-in dryer assembly to keep the air suspension free of moisture.
2007-2013 Chevrolet Tahoe Suspension Control Module - The suspension control module controls the amount of air pressure in the air springs electronically and keeps track of the health of the system. It is the 'brain' of the system and therefore critical to its functioning.
2007-2013 Chevrolet Tahoe O-rings- A proper seal where the air lines connect is necessary to keep the air suspension system clean and efficient. These o-rings are what maintain that seal, also keeping the air lines free of dust and other debris.
