Just converted my 2011 Sequoia platinum from air suspension to the Strutmaster kit and I think it rides better now than it ever did with the air bags. Turn key package - very much worth it.

Prior reviews helped educate my own purchase, and I shall pay it forward! Instructions: The Strutmasters team clearly put time and effort into composing the best install sheets and videos I have ever seen! I am no experienced wrench (but I had experienced onlookers as seen in the photo, ha); these instructions ensured I had nothing left to assumption. My install time was more like 4 hours because, well, rust. Getting the old shocks and air springs out was 80% of the battle. Minnesota winters FTW! The ride is so very nice again. These aging Sequoias are so darn reliable, I hope to put another 150k miles on! Thanks to the Strutmasters team for such a logical fix or upgrade to a wonderful vehicle.

The kit is advertised as a conversion from airbags, but my Sequoia is a Limited and it didn’t come with airbags. It still fit perfectly. I did one side first and measured both sides, and they matched the OEM suspension exactly. I had to replace my suspension because the driver-side coil spring was broken. The only issue I ran into was with the hardware for the mounting cup on the lower control arm. The kit came with 1.5-inch bolts, but it actually needed closer to 2.5-inch bolts, so I had to make a trip to the store for longer hardware. Other than that, everything has been great. I’ve had it installed for 3 days now with no complaints.

First side took longer but after assembling the first side the alternate side took half the time. Finished in a day in the driveway with Jack stands. A large pry bar and extra hands is a must for coil placement. The Sequoia rides great with the new suspension. Instructions are spot on. Great price.

Everything fit well and the instructions were good as well as the YouTube video. I’m happy I don’t have to mess with the rear air ride on our 13 sequoia platinum anymore. It rides well and so far so good. I do wish there was a way to turn off the light on the dash for the air ride but really that’s not a big issue.

Deleted air bags from a 2010 Sequoia. Well engineered kit. Excellent directions. Followed them and it went as shown. If you are working on the ground, get the vehicle up high enough to really get the lower control arm down. I used a long tanker bar and didn't have to loosen the control arm bolts. No alignment needed.

Easy and cheaper than replacing the old air suspension bags. Video and instructions are East to follow. It took me 4 hours because the hardest part was removing the sway links. 5 stars!

The ordering process was wonderful. I needed the conversion kit shipped to the US Virgin Islands. I spoke with Tammy and it was shipped without issue. All components are heavy duty and the instructions were easy to follow, with photos, wrench sizes and tips. I installed everything myself without any issues. I'm not a mechanic, just someone who can follow instructions. The video helped also. My Sequoia has been sagging for years. I've spent a fortune on maintaining the air suspension but it always fails; once on the way home after a repair. This kit solved everything and there's nothing electronic or rubber that will break, cut, blow-out or fail in the future. I am extremely happy with the process and the quality of the springs and shocks. The ride height is perfect and the handling is better than new.

Money well spent! I wasn’t sure if an air spring was leaking or it was some other electrical problem. This kit eliminates any future problems and cost just a little more than 2 bags that may fail or may not have been the problem. When installing the springs you will probably need a second set of hands. I put the bottom of the spring in first due to the tool protruding farther than the compressed spring on the lower end. Be sure to watch the installation video and place the spring compression tools in the exact same spot.
