Super easy install. No issues at all. Strutmasters has a great product with easy to follow instructions, I'm not a certified mechanic but had no problem completing the job myself.
Description
The 2009-2010 Lexus LS 460 AWD 4-Wheel Conversion Kit (TC24FM) is the perfect solution to your air suspension problems. Designed to be very affordable, you can convert your air suspension to use passive shocks and coil springs for less than the price of replacing one original equipment air spring.
The2009to 2010Lexus LS460 all-wheel drive models were equipped with one of the most sophisticated and expensive air suspension systems on the market. The air suspension system, better known as the Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS), has hundreds of electronically-controlled sensors, parts and components that must work in perfect synchronization to deliver the proper ride quality. Eventually, the factory air system begins to break down due to exposure to the elements and normal wear and tear. When one of the major components (such as an air strut or compressor) go down, several more are right behind it. For the best chance of a successful repair, experienced technicians recommend replacing ALL of the major components in the system. This complete overhaul can run in the $7000 to $9000 range with parts and labor. Strutmasters has developed a cost-effective alternative, the four-wheel Lexus LS 460 suspension conversion kit. The conversion kit uses passive (non-electronic) coil-over-struts that simply bolt right into place of the factory units. With detailed, step-by-step instructions, the kit is designed to be friendly to vehicle owners who want to tackle the job themselves. Using a repair shop? Recommended labor time is 1 to 1.5 hours per wheel ‚ about the same as replacing an OE unit. Strutmasters customers also have access to our technical support team, who are here to provide installation advice and answer questions. We use premium components and back them with a Lifetime Limited Warranty and the integrity of a company that invented the first fully-assembled suspension conversion kit back in 1999. All of our suspension conversion kits‚ including this one‚ are designed, assembled, sold and serviced at our family-owned facility in North Carolina, USA! Total one-stop shopping: FIX IT ONCE, FIX IT RIGHT with Strutmasters.

Suspension Failure Signs A sudden loss of three to five inches of vehicle ride height is normally the first sign something is terribly wrong with the factory air suspension on your 2009 to 2010 Lexus LS460. The drop may occur in the rear, front or all four corners of the vehicle. Either way, this sudden loss of ride height makes the vehicle difficult and even dangerous to drive. Other signs of trouble include an illuminated suspension warning light in the instrument cluster and/or a loud onboard air compressor that seems to run all of the time. Overall rating: 4.8 / 5 from 39 reviews.
Fast delivery, fits well, customer was very happy!
The install was easy took about 3 hours total front and back. The left front strut mount had to be twisted about 20deg to get the wholes to line up but simply done. Car road great with this product
No installation problems, fast delivery, great ride , it took a very expensive problem for an older air ride system and turned it into a money saving great results answer. I would highly recommend strutmaster . We are fortunate to have this kind of company around.
Awesome difference. Hard to believe how much of a difference in my vehicle's ride after installing the shocks. I'm 100% satisfied with my purchase and the end result which is a smooth riding vehicle. I highly recommend this conversion kit because it does work. It's an easy 5 star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ plus.
I just received my car back yesterday and comparing it from the original is riding much better. It’s not floating or bouncing. Just what I needed. Thank you for saving me a lot of money more than you know.
Received parts in very timely manner…
Just took my car to Lexus dealer for repair awaiting results. Thanks Strutmasters for helping with this service for parts.
Installation was very straightforward, about 8 hours total. Going from four blown out air shocks, to the coil over conversion kit is a night and day difference. Significantly less body roll going around bends, more predictable ride conditions, and less jarring when going over a bump or a pothole. Very pleased with the quality, installation and overall kit from Strutmasters. Highly recommended to anyone looking to upgrade to a coil over kit.
A great solution to an expensive problem. A complete air shock replacement on my Lexus LS 460 would have been over $12,000. Strutmasters cost was $1300 for the struts included the light out module. Labor was about $2500 including alignment.
The ride is very pleasant and I would highly recommend Strutmasters. The instructions were very straightforward and very accurate. Shipping was fast and easy. Great solution. No issues or problems with installation.
It rides great. Their are a slight difference in the total ride, but that is to be inspected. One would have to have a great condition lexus ls 460 in order to not be completely satisfied. Great job strut masters!!!
Didn't seem to need light out module. No lights. But I am wondering about the compressor for the air system. Is it now running continuously? Or what? Thank you.
The installation was straight forward. The sales rep emphasized paying attention to the notes to avoid issues with the module- always great to have a heads up to avoid problems.
The car rode and handled great afterwards.
The 4 wheel conversion kit from air struts to spring struts was an amazing difference on my 09 Lexus LS 460. The ride is much better and handles the rough road in NY much smoother ride. Thanks Struts Master for your service!!
The price of 4 struts and price to install was equal to the cost of 1 air strut for my car. No need to replace air struts on a 15 year old car. When Strutmasters products are an excellent option.
Firstly, StrutMasters were very helpful during the purchase process. There was zero sales pressure to complete the purchase - they just want to help as best as they could. Once order was placed, the shipment was quick, Switchover was relatively straightforward. The packaging was great and the struts looked great. The provided instructions were detailed and on point. The only suggestion is that the existing (KYB air suspension) heads rotate making them easier to rotate and change direction and align perfectly into the screw slots in the car. We had to put in a bit of elbow grease to get one of them to fit in due to a slight alignment issue with the strut and the openings for the screws topside. In all fairness, not really sure why this happened with only the one unit. The other three were not so hard to get in. We did not even have to use the electronic code disable kit. Ride is good. I am very happy with the purchase. I have been telling everyone that cares to listen about the switch from air to struts. The cost-SAVINGS are incredible. Will I purchase again from Strutmasters, if and when the need arise - YES. Do I recommend them - YES. Am I happy with the product - YES. Thank you to all that were part of this process.
Saved me a great deal of money replacing my air shocks. My Lexus rides great and service shop owner tells me the ride will be smoother as we go! I am very pleased.
Strutmaster conversion kit really works. I have been driving post conversion for about a week without issues. I want to see how this holds up after one year. I am sure the warranty they offer indicates they made it to last.
My local garage recommended Strutmasters for a suspension conversion kit for my Lexus LS460. I figured they knew what they were talking about so I ordered a kit and had my garage install it. Wow. Total night & day. No more bouncy air suspension and a nice, smooth ride. The kit components are top-level quality with outstanding workmanship. If you're looking for an air suspension conversion kit, Strutmasters is your source....
The struts brought the comfortable ride back. Ride height is also up. They are just as good as the air strut setup. I would recommend to all Lexus owners wanting to make the switch to these awesome struts. Thanks guys.
Had them installed because the air pump compressor needed to be replaced. I had previously replaced the air pump compressor and the shocks a few years ago at a cost of 8500.00, didn't want to take any more chances, so I replaced the shocks knowing that at some point they would need to be replaced too. While the ride is a little bit stiff and firm it rides just fine. Even my mechanic who install them was impress.
