I've done multiple conversions with other companies before and after using the kit supplied from STRUTMASTERS I'll be using them for all my future mods. Kit came complete with everything I needed and clear instructions for installation, and a module to clear up any codes caused by the conversion. Customer support was quick to answer any questions I had along the way. Definitely a 10 out of 10 with this company.

The struts arrived at my shop of choice within days. The install was quick. Everything fit. The light delete module gave the tech problems to begin with, but after talking with Strutmasters the problem was solved.
The ride was as expected not as smooth as the air suspension, but other than that, just fine.
I lost the sport and winter drive modes, but no big deal to me.
If anyone has a solution as to get those back, that would be a bonus.

Coil over suspension especially rear, rides mush harder than I expected. If I had it do do again, I’d pay the extra and heve the factory air repaired. Ride is worse than than any large car I remember owning.

I really needed this retrofit to work, but the engineering and tolerance folks were off 1/14 hunredth of an inch which did not let the male end fit into the top swingarm with the three bolts. Therefore I shipped it back and am awaiting a refund as we speak, which will be sooo, I hope.

After the dealer quoted us $8000 to replace the front struts we went to YouTube to find an alternative. Thank God for strutmasters. $1500 for front and back plus we paid a local mechanic $750 to install. Problem solved and there is no ride difference. Strutmasters conversion are worth every penny.

The install was pretty straight forward as all the needed parts came with the kit. Once installed the first test drive felt good and there was a slightly firmer ride then the OEM air
ride, which is just find with me. I have not drove it more than about 30 miles as of yet due to wanting to have a 4 wheel alignment so as to not damage my nearly new tires.
The only thing that could have made the electrical part
better would have been you making the instructions on the
wire colors clearer... i.e. Saying the gray wire with a orange
stripe rather then : gray/orange wire. We did figure it out
but only after cutting the wrong wires the first time...

Front suspension on my 2014 Equus failed and car had to be towed to the dealership. After being shocked by the repair estimate I decided to research the Strutmaster conversion kit. Spoke with Kim Fuqua at Strutmaster and she answered all my questions and concerns. I decided to convert both front and back suspension and order the delete module also. I was a little apprehensive but the Equus suspension is perfect. I saved a ton of money and am very pleased with the results. Would recommend Strutmaster to anyone with air suspension issues.

Finally - no more bumping down the road! Loved the air ride system in my 2014 Hyundai Equus but when it had it fixed the first time and then 6 months later went out again I was informed that they couldn't fix it. Suggested going to straight shock system. Glad I made the change! The ride is still smooth and nice to sit in my car without the rear end dragging on the ground

The conversion kit was delivered in a timely manner and I cannot tell the difference from the original air shocks. The Hyundai dealer with the air shocks was $7000.00 and the the conversion kit from Strutmasters was only a fraction of the cost @ $1400.00. I would highly recommend this to other customers.

When my 2014 Hyundia Equus begun to have issues with its suspension system, I felt that the best thing to do was sell it and purchase another. I was told by friend that I should contact S&M to see just what they had to offer. The parts that were sent to me at first, did not work well when I contacted SM, they went to work and sent me another pair for the front end and I will tell anyone, this car now rides better than it did five years ago. Take it from me, I WHOLE-HARDLY RE-COMMEND THIS COMPANY. They are awesome at what they do.

I’m disappointed that I lost my air ride. It was one of the reasons I purchased the car to begin with. That said, I am very happy there was a kit available to delete it. Quite frankly this air system is complicated and was no longer worth the hassle. For the price this kit is a pretty good quality. The ride is noticeably stiffer than air, but much better than most sedans still. So I can’t complain. The directions are straight forward and easy to understand. Overall I am pleased with the kit!

Don't be afraid to DIY. The instructions were ok. I wish the pics were a bit clearer. I had the service manual for my Equus which helped. Make sure to disconnect the air to each air shock/spring before disassembling. The instructions cover that. I forgot to on one of the rears and got quite the surprise. I'm lucky my hands were out if the way. I took it to my shop for an alignment directly after and they said that is was not far out of alignment. A few weeks in I can report that some of the initial stiffness has subsided. You can't tell by my princess and the pea wife. She also reported and I can verify that the steering is 2 or 3 degrees off. Could be further break in or a mistake by the repair shop. I will return it for further alignment. The trouble light bypass harness was a little difficult to understand but I must have got it right. No idiot light. Overall a good experience and now I have the peace of mind of not dealing with 3 other air shocks failing down the line.

I bought replacement air struts for the front, only lasted 8 months, started making lots of rattling noise and started falling down again. These struts and springs, all four, took a couple hours to swap out in the garage. Should have done this the first time. Car has nice stance. Suspension is more sporty like. No issues so far. Satisfied Customer.

I had two years stressing over the leaky airbag system, so I decided to swap to this Strutmasters system. Let me say that I was not only extremely impressed with Strutmasters very professional Sales and Technical staff but also the product. My car is much more planted and drives like a European Sports Sedan. The steering is much better now, i.e. it's more responsive and the car tracks much better. I also retained the Drive Mode function of Normal and Sport mode, which is very important to me

I have had the struts, shocks, springs and module installed for a couple of weeks. All in all I am satisfied. The ride height is perfect. The ride is a little stiffer but in my case I am happy about that. I have no ECS waring lights on with the installation of the light module. The ride height button is disabled which I understand. The drive mode also is disabled which I understand but wish I still had the features without the ride changes such as dash changes and shift point adjustments. I also have a Check BSD System warning which I hope is unrelated to the install but I am still working on this. One comment on the install. Overall it went very well and the instructions were very good. My one issue was with the front strut bottom saddle. The ends are slightly flared out to help with installation. This however caused the bolt to cross thread. To resolve this issue, I cut off the welded captive nut and used the OEM nut and bolt. This went very well and solved this issue. Overall I am very happy.
