Super easy install. No issues at all. Strutmasters has a great product with easy to follow instructions, I'm not a certified mechanic but had no problem completing the job myself.

Product went in very easy. Did the install in the driveway with a buddy. It took maybe 3hrs to complete which included me and my buddy hanging out and catching up while we worked. Great product so far.
I can definitely tell the difference and that is great! I must prefer this version than the original because this is less trouble and much more durable. My vehicle is a 2017 Nissan Armada. I took my vehicle to the dealership to have them replace to old with the new and it was a bit more expensive than I expected. Next time I’ll take it to another shop. But I am satisfied with your product and will recommend it to others. Thank you
My mechanic usually uses ones he gets from a local parts store to replace the air ride systems when they blow. They were out so he agreed to install yours for me. He said they were better made than the others...very happy. This is my 2nd Armada install...flawless! TY!
Product was exactly as delivered. Install was easy. Ride was just as it was before them. Good quality. My only gripe is that I use my SUV for towing a small trailer. The ride height is perfect without a trailer. Once I attach the small trailer the drop (which some was expected) was a little more than what looks normal. SO.. I had to have my installer order a spring spacer and he has to come back and undo most of what he installed and install the spacers so the ride height is level when the trailer is on. So I have to pay for 2 installs essencially.
There should have been a little more information shared about this type of situation. Maybe even you guys could add spring spacers to your product catalog so I could have gotten them all at the same time.
But good product. ....assuming you dont need to tow anything.
From my experience so far is that the rear sways from side to side more than I like. It seems like it’s not stiff enough. Is there something that can be done to stiffen it up more.
The quality of the parts and ease of installation made it a wonderful transition. The ride height isn't quite at factory specs though. I will need to lower the adjustment on my headlights. All in all it's a great product and would recommend it to anyone who went through the perils of air ride suspension that I did.
I just wanted to let you know, that I am truly impressed with the finished project! My truck blew the air shocks twice, and I just did not want to pay the dealer price of $1,000.00 per shock. Your kit greatly improved my ride height and the truck looks great! We are a family of 9, and my kids unfortunately, are still growing. In the past, when everyone was in the vehicle, our truck looked like we were carrying a load of sand in the back of the Armada. But now, even with all of us in the truck, our truck still rides great. We have a stock 2WD Armada, and your kit, carries my family, and we can still buy 9 bottles of water, and still not have to worry about the ride height, or the handling of the vehicle.
Thanks again for a great product!
I own a 2018 Armada and I woke up one morning to the "infamous" rear sag. The compressor went out on the OEM air ride suspension. Rather than spend thousands of dollars to replace not only what went out, but what was going to follow suit, I went back to the basics and chose this setup. I couldn't be more happier with the results. Same quality ride at a fraction of the OEM cost! The only issue was some slight modifications to the o-rings. Fortunately my mechanic was knowledgeable.
The company should do a instruction video for the nissan or Infiniti. The paper instructions are useless. The steps to install the coil overs is non existent.
Hook up the void springs. Drop the rear. Install the shock and then run it up.
The kit performs well and did put it at ride height but the stock shocks have a rectangle head that goes through the top mount and I was worried it would soon push the small grommet up through that hole at some point because I live on a gravel road.So I took the bottom washer off the new shocks and flipped it then installed the bigger washer from the old shocks with the new grommets good to go .Also the new springs are a little shorter and smaller in inside diameter but work great this should be noted in instructions for the at home adventurist like me I did mine in the driveway.overall very satisfied with the ride

REPLACEMENT FOR AIR SHOCKS ONLY
Replaced Components The 2016-2023 Nissan Armada is built with the following suspension components: 2016-2023 Nissan Armada Coil Springs (x2) - What we love! Coil springs hold the vehicle up but be careful, the stock coil springs on this vehicle are rated for and designed to work specifically with the air suspension system, so when you change air shocks to passive shocks, then you will need a different rated coil spring that works well with the new type of shocks. 2016-2023 Nissan Armada Air Shock Absorbers (x2) - the air shocks are pumped up automatically to keep the vehicle level and to assist with the ride quality. These shocks contain a rubber bladder which is notorious for dry rotting, causing leaks in the shocks which inevitably leads to multiple failures in the air system. 2016-2023 Nissan Armada Height Sensors (x2) - a linkage located near each wheel of a vehicle with any electronic suspension that, either mechanically or electronically, constantly measures the height of the vehicle, and reports this information back to the control module so that the computer can identify if changes in height need to be adjusted accordingly. The ride height sensor is a moving part, and like all moving parts, they will eventually wear out. 2016-2023 Nissan Armada Coil-over Struts (x2) - a type of shock, absorber; has metal tubing filled with gas-charged hydraulic fluid that is connected to the wheel of a vehicle in order to reduce the effects of vertical travel on a rough surface which controls the bounciness, and therefore comfort, of a vehicle. Coil-over struts have a coil spring seated at the top which controls the height of the vehicle. Over time, coil springs can become weakened and will need replacing. 2016-2023 Nissan Armada Air Lines- tubes that run from a compressor to the air which carry pressurized air to the air bags in order to adjust the height of the vehicle, respectively. 2016-2023 Nissan Armada Solenoids (x2) - usually L-shaped, these plastic components connect the electrical connection and lines of suspension components to the suspension control module on vehicles with active suspension. The solenoid regulates the air pressure for each air spring. Solenoids start to leak as they wear out causing the vehicle to sag or to lean. This will cause the ride height sensor to send a signal to activate the compressor in an attempt to inflate the air suspension and level out the vehicle. This excessive work load will eventually lead to total failure of the compressor. 2016-2023 Nissan Armada Compressor Assembly- creates/sends pressurized to active suspension components. When the air suspension starts leaking, the compressor/pump starts working harder to try to keep the system inflated. By the time air suspension leaks down completely, sitting the vehicle on its tires, the compressor will either have failed or be well on its way to full failure. Buying replacement air springs and taking the time to install them only to find out the compressor still needs to be replaced can be very frustrating, time-consuming, and expensive. 2016-2023 Nissan Armada Dryer- prevents moisture build-up inside of air suspension parts. 2016-2023 Nissan Armada Suspension Control Module- a computer which is responsible for the operations of the air suspension system and maintaining the vehicles correct ride height. 2016-2023 Nissan Armada O-rings- Although they are the least expensive parts of the air suspension, they are responsible for maintaining the seal where all of the air lines connect. Be sure to replace the O-rings when repairing any air suspension system.
Suspension Failure Signs If the 2016-2023 Nissan Armada is unable to reach and maintain its proper ride height, a failed or leaking air suspension system may be the cause. Look for these common signs that indicate the suspension is going bad, before it's too late and total failure sets in. The most noticeable sign is a sudden uneven ride height between different sides of the Armada. Typically, the Armada may have a sagging rear end. This can give the illusion the vehicle is squatting down low to the ground. There may be a shifting lean from one side to the other. These imbalances will place a strain on the air compressor. Eventually, the air compressor will run too often and then wear out. Once this occurs, a suspension warning light will illuminate on the dashboard. At this advanced stage of suspension failure, a suspension repair will be costly.
OEM Replacement Cost
Air Shocks ($140/air shock) +
Compressor and Dryer Assembly ($400) +
Coil Springs ($90/spring)
= Over $800 (but that doesnt include replacing electronic components that are known to fail such as the height sensors).
Aftermarket Replacement Cost
Compressor and Dryer Assembly +
Air Shocks
= Over $650 (but that doesn't include replacing electronic components that are known to fail such as the height sensors).
